HYPER ACTIVE ARABIAN SEA & SUPER CYCLONE!
◉ Arabian sea has been observing intense warming over the past few days which is interestingly happening in absence of (Madden-Julian Oscillation) MJO waves. Current anomalies of Central Arabian Sea are 3-4° degrees warmer than average values and now the warmer conditions are spreading till Southern Indian Coast. The MJO waves are currently residing in Western Hemisphere & African Horn and they are expected to arrive in Indian Ocean by next week onwards followed by cyclogenesis and intense convection.
◉ Above mentioned synoptic situation suggests that the third largest ocean in the world may spawn SUPER CYCLONE (Category - 04) by next week onwards which could become one of the most interesting tropical systems in the history of arabian sea. Current conditions are highly aggressive which supports the idea of formation of intense cyclone "Biparjoy" near southern Indian Coast. A low pressure is likely to develop subsequent 48 hours and potentially intensifying into tropical system later on while following the northward or northeast ward direction. The final destiny of Biparjoy hasn't decided yet due to uncertainty in parameters but one thing has confirmed, wherever this cyclone will hit, it could cause destruction on larger scales, therefore authorities of Oman, India & Pakistan should stay HIGH ALERT and start making early arrangements.
NOTE: All the possible tracks, scenarios and real-time updates/advisories regarding Biparjoy shall be issued timely on our every platform in English & Urdu both. Make sure you're in touch with Karachi Weather Updates!
